About Us
Maple River Designs started from a journey that began far from the workshop. During my first deployment in 2010, I worked with a machining and engraving shop that produced aircraft parts. That experience introduced me to the precision and creativity of laser engraving, and it sparked an interest that stayed with me.

In 2012, my wife and I moved to Montana with the Air Force and immediately fell in love with the state's beauty and strong sense of community. After sustaining an injury that led to my medical discharge, I knew I still wanted to work with my hands and create meaningful pieces.
Woodworking has always been part of my life. It is a skill passed down from my father and grandfather. Combining that foundation with modern engraving technology allowed me to build something unique. Over time, I added CNC carving to my process to achieve detailed and accurate results that bring each project to life.

Maple River Designs evolved from a blend of heritage, experience, and modern techniques. Every piece is crafted with intention. Whether it is custom drinkware, a CNC carved design, or a one-of-a-kind woodworking project, the goal remains the same: create something personal, meaningful, and made to last.

This is more than a business. It is a passion. Every project is an opportunity to create something unique for someone who appreciates quality and authenticity.
